Phu Quoc Island: North West

Heading out of Duong Dong past the airport there is a literally a 'hole in the wall' which is the main road to the North West.

At Ong Lan Beach stop for a coffee at Mango Bay, Chenla or Bo Resort and enjoy their quiet isolation.

Head onto the pretty town of Cua Can, navigating the narrow bridges and arrive at Mai Phuong restaurant for some fantastic fresh seafood with good views across to Cambodia. The frontier is a mere 5km from here.

From here the road huge the coast along Dai Beach all the way to the quiet and peaceful collection of beaches of Ganh Dau.

Enter the rainforests on the backroads leading back to Duong Dong and pass by the pepper plantations of Khu Tuong.
